Receptionist - Casual, Leave cover, potential PPT

We are a well established with 7 doctor private medical practice in Eaglehawk in a brand new building, looking for an experienced Receptionist to join our friendly team.

We provide an inclusive team setting, supportive management and the chance to undertake a variety of responsibilities.

The successful applicant will possess:

- The ability to quickly build rapport and provide exceptional customer service.

- Confident in greeting patients with a positive and pleasant personality

- Excellent communication skills in person and over the phone

- Friendly and compassionate

- Award pay rate or above depending on past experience

- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure

- A strong willingness to learn and develop in a role.

- Must have proven computer skills

- Be punctual and reliable

- Previous medical reception experience preferred, but not essential

Tasks & responsibilities

- Answer phone call and book appointments

- Patient account management

- Private/public inpatient and outpatient billings

- Billing to Medicare | DVA | Third party billings

- Daily/weekly banking

- General administration

- Fax and scanning

- Mail
