Area Operations Manager - Cleaning Services

Adelaide, SA | Full-Time

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Area Operations Manager to join our growing facilities services team. This role is responsible for the operational management of multiple client sites across metropolitan Adelaide, ensuring service delivery standards, client satisfaction, and team performance are consistently achieved.

As a key member of our leadership team, you will oversee frontline supervisors and cleaning personnel, drive service excellence, and build strong client relationships across a diverse portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and support site-based cleaning teams across multiple commercial and industrial locations.

- Ensure contractual service requirements and performance standards are consistently met.

- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and quality reviews to maintain operational excellence.

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, responding proactively to service requests and concerns.

- Manage workforce planning, rostering, and allocation of resources to meet business and client needs.

- Recruit, onboard, train, and mentor team members to support ongoing development and retention.

- Monitor performance metrics and prepare operational reports for management and clients.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, service quality, and safety outcomes.

- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements, company policies, and industry standards.

About You

- Previous experience in operations,



facilities management, cleaning services, hospitality, or a similar service-driven environment.

- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop geographically dispersed teams.

- Strong customer service focus with excellent stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to manage competing priorities and make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment.

- High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional outcomes.

- Sound administrative and computer skills, including experience with workforce and reporting systems.

- Current driver's licence and willingness to travel between client sites.
