BHP is offering a 2-year Fabrication Apprenticeship at the FutureFit Academy in Perth. Trainees will learn in the classroom and workshop, reading technical drawings, measuring, cutting and joining metal parts while using welders and grinders to fabricate equipment and structures.

The program leads to a Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (MEM31925) and may lead to ongoing roles at BHP on mine sites. You will follow a 7 Days / 7 Off / 7 Nights / 7 Off roster with 10.5 hour shifts.
