Counter Sales / Administration Assistant – Junior Position

About the role

Briggs Veneers Pty Ltd is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Counter Sales / Administration Assistant to join our team at Wetherill Park, NSW.

We are a well-established manufacturing business specialising in timber veneers, decorative panels and related building products.

This is a junior position with excellent career development opportunities. We welcome recent university graduates and applicants looking to start a new career. No previous work experience is required, as full training will be provided.

This is a full time position involving customer service, counter sales, order processing and general office administration.

Key responsibilities

- Attend to customers at the sales counter and provide friendly, professional service.
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to customer enquiries.
- Process customer orders, sales invoices and payments.
- Assist customers with product information, pricing and availability.
- Liaise with warehouse and production staff to coordinate customer orders.
- Assist with stock records, inventory management and data entry.
- Perform general administration and office support duties.
- Maintain accurate records and assist with day-to-day business operations.
- Support other team members when required.

What we're looking for

- No previous work experience required – full training will be provided.
- Ability to communicate effectively in Chinese (Mandarin) is essential.
- Strong written and spoken English skills,



equivalent to IELTS 7.0 or above.
- Basic computer skills and a willingness to learn new systems.
- A friendly, reliable and professional attitude.
- Good attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Accounting or Architectural related education background is a great advantage.
- Valid Australian working rights are essential. Permanent residency or Australian citizenship is not required.
