Our client is a privately owned, multi-entity group with a strong growth pipeline. The team is small and moves quickly. People who take ownership are rewarded.

The role

You’ll report to the head of finance and run day-to-day finance across the group. The work is varied: month-end, entity and project reporting, and compliance. You’ll have a clear path to becoming the finance lead’s right hand.

What you’ll be doing

- Own month-end close and management reporting across the group
- Prepare budget vs actual analysis and variance commentary
- Prepare reporting for banks and financiers
- Track spend against budget and raise variances early
- Manage BAS, payroll and statutory compliance
- Act as the main finance contact for external accountants and auditors




- Oversee bookkeeping support and improve reporting processes

What success looks like

- An accurate month-end close, with reports out on time
- You own the detail
- Within your first year, the head of finance relies on you as their trusted right hand

What you’ll bring

- CA or CPA qualification
- 3–6 years’ post-grad experience across management accounting, month-end, reconciliations and accruals
- Strong attention to detail and a high-ownership mindset
- Advanced Excel and cloud accounting experience
- Multi-entity group experience. Property, construction or investment group experience is valued
