Jack and Jill Childcare Centre – New Farm QLD

We are seeking a passionate, dedicated and enthusiastic Early Childhood Teacher to join our small, close-knit team at our family-owned and operated early learning service in inner-city Brisbane. This is a unique opportunity to join our team on a maternity leave contract for approximately 12 months, with the potential for ongoing employment in 2028. We are looking for an educator who is committed to delivering high-quality early childhood education and who is passionate about creating engaging, meaningful and enriching learning experiences that inspire children to learn, grow and thrive.

Key responsibilities

- Build positive relationships with colleagues, children and families

- Flexible, proactive and committed to continuous improvement
- Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or an ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification, or currently studying towards the relevant qualification
- Previous experience working in an early childhood education setting
- Sound understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS)
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications
- Current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Current Child Safety Training
