Morisset Bimchooks Pty Ltd Morisset Bimchooks Pty Ltd, trading as Phat Chicken Morisset, is seeking an experienced Retail Manager to organise and control the operations of our chicken and food retail store at Morisset Square. Reporting to the business owner, you will manage staffing, purchasing, inventory, customer service and store financial performance within agreed budgets and delegated authority. Location: Shop M3B, Morisset Square, 29-31 Yambo Street, Morisset NSW 2264.

This is a permanent full-time position with 38 ordinary hours per week and a base salary of $81,000 per annum plus statutory superannuation. Suitably qualified Australian citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to apply.

Other suitably qualified applicants will also be considered.

Task & responsibilities

Plan and manage daily store operations, product availability and customer service standards. Manage staff recruitment, induction, training, rostering and performance. Determine purchasing requirements, coordinate suppliers and monitor delivery quality and costs.

Maintain inventory records and oversee food storage, stock rotation and waste reduction.



Prepare operating budgets, monitor sales and expenses, and improve store performance. Oversee cash handling, reconciliations and financial reporting to the owner.

Review product mix, pricing and promotional activities within delegated authority. Maintain store presentation and resolve customer enquiries and complaints. Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements.

Coordinate opening and closing procedures, equipment maintenance and operational improvements.

Qualification & experience

At least one year of relevant experience in retail or fast food management.

Demonstrated ability to supervise staff, prepare rosters and coordinate daily operations. Experience with purchasing, stock control, budgeting, cost management and sales reporting. Sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene and workplace safety requirements.

Strong leadership, communication, customer service and problem-solving skills. A relevant qualification in retail management, business or hospitality is desirable. Availability to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
