SolStak is looking for a Software Developer to design, build and maintain secure applicationsfor sovereign Defence and government mission systems. You will deliver full-stack solutions inaccredited environments with a strong focus on quality, security and operational reliability.

What you’ll do

- Develop web, API and integration services for mission-critical applications
- Write clean, tested code and participate in peer review and CI/CD pipelines
- Integrate applications with identity, data and platform services
- Follow secure coding practices aligned with government accreditation requirements
- Collaborate with architects, DevOps and project teams on end-to-end delivery

What we’re looking for

- Solid software development experience with modern languages and frameworks
- Proficiency with Git, GitLab CI/CD and automated testing practices
- Understanding of API design, microservices and secure application architecture
- Experience delivering software in enterprise or government contexts
- Minimum two years of proven experience in a relevant role
- Own GitLab instance and home lab environment (highly desirable)
- Existing Australian Government security clearance (highly desirable)
- Industry certifications (highly desirable)
