Reed Automotive Pty. Ltd. is seeking an Experienced Mechanic to join our team in Morayfield, QLD. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work with a reputable automotive business, delivering high-quality mechanical services to our valued customers. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of vehicles, utilising your technical expertise and problem-solving skills to ensure customer satisfaction and vehicle safety.

Key responsibilities

- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment and technical knowledge
- Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes, filter replacements, brake inspections, and fluid top-ups
- Repair and replace vehicle components such as engines, transmissions, suspension systems, and braking systems
- Conduct pre-delivery inspections and quality checks to ensure vehicles meet safety and performance standards
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation for all work completed
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair requirements, timelines, and costs
- Adhere to workplace health and safety regulations and best practices
- Maintain tools and workshop equipment in good working condition

What we're looking for

- Proven experience as a qualified mechanic with a strong track record in automotive repairs and maintenance
- Valid automotive trade qualifications or relevant certification demonstrating competency in mechanical work
- Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and workshop machinery
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems including engines, transmissions,



electrical systems, and suspension
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced workshop environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation to the workplace
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
