Physiotherapist | Physio Pilates & Active Rehab | Four-Day Week

Build a long-term career in Brisbane’s inner north

Develop your physiotherapy and Pilates skills within a welcoming boutique studio in Gordon Park, approximately 4km north of Brisbane’s CBD.

Enjoy an established inner-north neighbourhood close to the city, alongside a four-day working week, personal mentoring and the opportunity to grow into clinical leadership.

Build a career around movement, relationships and lasting change

Do you enjoy helping people become stronger, more confident and more active? Would you love to develop your Physio Pilates skills within a supportive studio community?

TriBalance is seeking a physiotherapist to join our Gordon Park studio in February 2027.

You’ll work with persistent and recurrent back pain, musculoskeletal conditions and healthy-ageing clients, combining individual physiotherapy with small-group Physio Pilates. You’ll receive substantial mentoring from our founder, Cathy Aganoff with 21 years of private practise MSK experience, and have the opportunity to grow toward a senior clinical leadership role.

What you’ll enjoy

- A four-day full-time week: 38 hours across Monday – Thursday, with no regular Friday or weekend work.

- A great inner-north Brisbane location: work in Gordon Park, approximately 4km north of the CBD, combining a local community feel with convenient proximity to the city.

- An established Physio Pilates timetable: take over existing classes and build relationships with our welcoming members.

- Structured mentoring: four weeks observing Cathy, followed by four weeks of supervised teaching, then regular class observation and protected case discussions.

- Funded professional development: an agreed pathway tailored to your experience and clinical interests.

- Broader teaching opportunities:

develop general Reformer teaching skills and, over time, explore funded or subsidised Yoga Teacher Training.

- A long-term career pathway: potential progression into senior physiotherapy and Physio Pilates clinical leadership.

Your role

Your initial focus will be learning our approach and progressively taking responsibility for small-group Physio Pilates classes, with four to six clients per class.

Alongside teaching, you’ll develop a caseload of individual physiotherapy and Physio Pilates clients. This caseload will build over time, supported by studio marketing, mentoring and proactive relationship development.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Delivering safe, individualised exercise and adapting programs to each client’s needs.

- Providing clear instruction, thoughtful cueing and appropriate progressions.

- Assessing and treating individual clients using an active rehabilitation approach.

- Explaining rehabilitation plans clearly and helping clients organise their recommended appointments.

- Maintaining timely clinical documentation and appropriate client follow-up.

- Progressively learning the complete Physio Pilates pathway, from assessment and introductory classes through to review and ongoing participation.

- Contributing to the wider studio community, including general Reformer and eventually Yoga Basics teaching where appropriately trained.

Our main client groups include people managing back pain, returning to exercise and building strength, balance,

mobility and confidence as they age.

About you

You’re a qualified physiotherapist with current AHPRA registration, ideally with approximately two to five years of private practise experience. We welcome applicants with different experience levels who demonstrate robust clinical foundations and a clear interest in this role.

You:

- Enjoy working with people and building genuine rapport.

- Have an interest in persistent pain, healthy ageing and exercise rehabilitation.

- Use evidence-informed clinical reasoning and adapt your approach to the individual.

- Are comfortable with manual therapy where appropriate, while prioritising exercise and education.

- Ask questions, seek feedback and put what you learn into practice.

- Communicate confidently with individuals and groups.

- Take initiative with appropriate client follow-up and caseload development.

- See value in Pilates, yoga and whole-person care.

Clinical Pilates or Reformer experience is highly desirable. You don’t need to arrive as a yoga teacher, we’re interested in your willingness to learn and develop.
