Experienced Chef / Cook - Join the Crew!

Brunswick Heads Fish & Chippery is looking for an experienced chef or cook to join our growing team. We are a busy, locally owned coastal fish and chippery with a passion for fresh Australian seafood, quality ingredients and old-fashioned hospitality. We bring restaurant-quality cooking standards to a relaxed coastal takeaway workplace. We care about fresh ingredients, proper cooking techniques and attention to detail. From seafood to burgers and tacos, we believe great food starts with excellent ingredients. We fry in pure beef tallow, embrace traditional methods and take pride in quality, presentation and consistency.

Key responsibilities

- Prepare and cook seafood, burgers, tacos and other menu items
- Work across fryers, grills and preparation stations
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and consistency
- Follow food safety and hygiene procedures
- Assist with stock control, preparation and daily kitchen operations
- Contribute ideas and work closely with our kitchen crew

About you





- Proven experience in a busy commercial kitchen
- Strong cooking skills and excellent attention to detail
- Genuine passion for quality food and proper cooking techniques
- Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure
- Reliability, a positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
- Availability for evenings, weekends and public holidays
- Current, valid working rights in Australia
- Above-award wages for the right chef
