Synergie Australia has partnerewd witha leading manufacturer and service provider in the mining and heavy industrial sector, we are looking for a motivated, hands-on Electrical Trade Assistant to join our team, supporting the servicing, maintenance and repair of specialised coal mining equipment.

If you enjoy working with tools, have a strong mechanical or electrical aptitude, and are keen to develop your skills in a heavy industrial environment, this could be the opportunity for you!

Key Responsibilities

- Assist electricians and tradespeople with electrical maintenance, repairs and equipment overhauls.
- Support the servicing and maintenance of specialised underground coal mining machinery.
- Assist with dismantling, inspecting, cleaning and reassembling electrical components and equipment.
- Prepare tools, materials and equipment for maintenance and repair work.
- Assist with fault-finding activities and the replacement of electrical components under supervision.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop setting.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures, safe work instructions and quality standards.
- Work collaboratively with the electrical and mechanical maintenance teams to meet deadlines and production requirements.

What We’re Looking For





- A genuine interest in electrical work and heavy machinery.
- Previous experience as a Trade Assistant, Workshop Assistant or in an industrial environment is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of electrical tools, components and equipment is desirable.
- Strong work ethic, reliability and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn, take initiative and get hands-on with the job.
