An opportunity exists for aqualified Diesel Mechanic who has experience in the service,maintenance and repair of heavy mining / earthmoving equipment tojoin our team at Broken Hill. The successful candidate will workboth in the Broken Hill workshop and in field service; with adisciplined approach and the capability to work autonomously theywill deliver high quality work to ensure customer serviceexpectations are achieved.

Responsibilities of theRole:

- Servicing and repairs to arange of above mining equipment including earthmoving & onhighway trucks;




- Component change-outs andrepairs;
- Fault diagnosis and troubleshooting of mechanical and electronic engine systems;
- Report writing on faultfindings including current warranty claims;
- Participation in dailyContamination Control and Safety processes.

Skills and ExperienceRequired:

- Current Driver’s Licence;
- Previous experience with heavymining and earthmoving equipment;
- Excellent mechanical servicingand diagnostic skills;
- Auto Electrical and Hydraulicexperience;
- Strong commitment to meetingcustomer requirements
- Dedicated to safety,contamination control and quality standards;
- Ability to attend breakdownsand fault find in a remote / autonomous environment.
