Stuartholme School is a Catholic day and boarding school situated in Toowong, Brisbane.

Key Selection Criteria

- demonstrated knowledge and experience in a primary school setting,
- demonstrated knowledge and experience of current evidence based pedagogical practices including agile classrooms and student focused learning.
- ability to creatively integrate information technology into curriculum plans and daily learning experiences.
- contribute to the development and implementation of the school objectives, especially as they relate to the five Goals of Sacred Heart Education
- a personal and active faith in God
- a social awareness which impels to action




- the building of community as a Christian value
- personal growth in an atmosphere of wise freedom.
- ability to plan and prepare teaching and learning programs in a primary school context which–
- meet the diverse characteristics, needs and learning styles of students and are consistent with relevant syllabus and education trends.

Primary Teachers will teach students in Years 5 and/or 6.

A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience is required.

Current teacher registration with Queensland College of Teachers and experience with the Australian curriculum is essential.

We welcome full-time or job-share applicants.

Teachers will start in the 2027 School year.

Applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents.
