Customer Support Specialist - Window Furnishings & Interiors

Know how to keep customers informed and orders moving through a manufacturing business?

We’re looking for an experienced Customer Support Officer who understands the work behind a customer order: checking the details, coordinating with internal teams, following up on progress and making sure customers know what is happening.

Our client is an established manufacturer of premium made-to-measure window furnishings, based in Revesby. This full-time role would suit someone who has supported customers within a manufacturing, wholesale, distribution or product supply business.

The opportunity

You’ll be a key point of contact for customer enquiries and order support, working closely with internal teams to provide accurate information and resolve issues.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Responding to customer enquiries by phone and email
- Processing orders and checking product information for accuracy
- Following up on order progress, lead times and delivery requirements
- Liaising with production, sales and dispatch to answer customer queries
- Managing order changes and resolving product or delivery issues
- Maintaining clear, accurate customer and order records

The experience we’re looking for

You will have previous office-based customer service or sales support experience within a business that manufactures,



supplies or distributes physical products , including responsibility for processing and following up customer orders.

Experience with made-to-measure or made-to-order products will be particularly well regarded. Relevant backgrounds include:

- Blinds, curtains, shutters, awnings and other window furnishings
- Kitchens, cabinetry, wardrobes and joinery
- Windows, doors, glass and aluminium products
- Building materials, architectural products and interior finishes
- Other manufacturing or wholesale businesses handling product specifications and customer orders

You’ll be comfortable learning product details, working accurately in an order management system and coordinating with several teams to get an answer. Just as importantly, you’ll take ownership of enquiries and keep customers updated through to resolution.
