You will assist our trades and workshop team with day‑to‑day maintenance, repairs and general duties, while also carrying out deliveries, collections and transport‑related tasks as required.

About the Role

You will assist our trades and workshop team with day‑to‑day maintenance, repairs and general duties, while also carrying out deliveries, collections and transport‑related tasks as required.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist tradespeople and workshop staff with maintenance and repair tasks

- Carry out general workshop duties and keep work areas clean and organised

- Load, secure and unload equipment, materials and freight

- Drive company vehicles safely and responsibly

- Complete deliveries and collections as required

- Conduct basic vehicle and equipment checks

- Assist with moving vehicles, machinery and equipment around the yard

- Use basic hand and power tools

- Follow workplace health and safety procedures

- Complete vehicle checks,



delivery paperwork and other relevant documentation

- Perform other general duties as required

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

- Reliable, punctual and hardworking

- Practical and mechanically minded

- Comfortable performing physical and manual work

- Confident driving a range of company vehicles

- Safety‑conscious and able to follow procedures

- Able to work independently as well as part of a team

- Well organised with good attention to detail

- Flexible and willing to assist wherever needed

- Professional and respectful when dealing with customers and colleagues

Essential Requirements

- Current and valid Australian driver's licence

- Good driving history

- Previous experience in transport, trades, mechanical, workshop or similar environments

- Good understanding of workplace health and safety

- Ability to safely lift and move equipment and materials

Desirable

- HR/HC licence

- Forklift licence

- Previous experience as a trades assistant, yard hand, delivery driver or in a transport setting

- Basic mechanical knowledge
