Grafton Base Hospital and Health Service in regional NSW is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department on a contract basis. This is a short-term opportunity running from now until 22 November 2026, ideal for someone looking for focused, high-impact work in a busy ED environment. You'll be part of a team delivering emergency care to the local community, bringing your clinical expertise to a role that values both skill and reliability.

- Contract position, approximately 6 weeks, start as soon as possible
- Emergency Department nursing in a regional hospital setting

Preferred Requirements





- Minimum 12 months of experience working in an Emergency Department or Short Stay Unit
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple patients in a fast-paced environment
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification
- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
- Post-graduate qualification or experience in Emergency Nursing
