TheRole

We are seeking a passionate AssociateorSenior Associate to join across ourWorkers’ Compensationpractice on apermanentbasis, working between our Perth CBDand Joondalup offices. Reporting to the Legal Practice Manager, you willwork on a range of pre and post litigated workers’ compensation matters, including stress and psychological injury claims.

Please note that although this is a full time opportunity, we are open to discussions around either a part-time or flexible work arrangements for the right candidate (provided you may work minimum four (4) days per week), with work from home options included.

With compassion, connection and purpose, you’ll truly champion our clients by:

- Competently managing and progressing a variety of personal injuryfiles across predominantly workers’ compensation, including stress and psychological injury claims.
- Drafting legal documents in a concise and effective manner.
- Interpreting legal advice to each client's particular case to suit their level of understanding.
- Being commercially responsible and fiscally aware, in relation to running files.
- Effectively assessing claims including prospects, liability and quantum.




- Developing and maintaining strong professional working relationships with clients, including effective and regular communication and managing the client's expectations.
- Taking an active role in working with and mentoring junior staff.

What you’ll bring

To thrive in this role, you’ll have the:

- Experience in a similar personal injury solicitor role.
- Desire to specialise in the highly complex legal area of workers compensation/stress and psychological injury claims.
- Ability to manage large volumes of documents.
- Maturity and confidence to deal with clients, senior and junior counsel and expert witnesses.
- Attention to detail to communicate effectively.
- Passion, motivationand enthusiasm to take their career to the next level.
