SolStak is looking for a Cloud Engineer to architect and deliver cloud-native infrastructureacross sovereign Australian cloud and hybrid environments. You will enable secure, scalableplatforms for Defence and government mission systems.

What you’ll do

- Design and implement cloud landing zones, networking and core platform services
- Automate provisioning and configuration with Terraform, Ansible or equivalent tooling
- Optimise cost, performance and resilience of cloud workloads
- Embed security controls and compliance requirements into cloud architecture
- Partner with engineering teams to support migration and modernisation programmes

What we’re looking for

- Experience with AWS, Azure or sovereign cloud providers in enterprise settings
- Robust infrastructure-as-code and scripting capabilities
- Pragmatic approach to delivery in regulated environments
- Minimum two years of proven experience in a relevant role
- Own GitLab instance and home lab environment (highly desirable)
- Existing Australian Government security clearance (highly desirable)
- Industry certifications (highly desirable)
