Key Responsibilities

- Managing building and construction litigation and dispute resolution: adjudication, arbitration, mediation, court proceedings
- Advising on construction disputes across all project phases, front-end contract drafting through to back-end claims management




- Acting for insurers and insureds on contract works, property and ISR insurance claims
- Advising on first party insurance matters including fire, flood and major loss events
- Advising on construction contracts, procurement strategy and front-end documentation
- Advice under security of payment legislation
- Mentoring junior lawyers within the team

About You

- - Admitted to practise in NSW
- - Experience in construction litigation, construction disputes, commercial litigation, or insurance (contract works, property, ISR or first party)
- - Strong dispute resolution skills: litigation, arbitration, adjudication or mediation
- - Fire, flood or major loss claims experience an advantage
- - Working knowledge of security of payment legislation desirable
- - Strong communicator, comfortable managing competing priorities in a team workplace
