A South Western QLD hospital requires a Senior Medical Officer in General Practice from 26/05/2026 to 18/10/2026.

Duties will include working in Maternity unit and ante natal clinics but also on the roster for Emergency, wards and Clinics. The doctor will be required to participate on the on call roster as required.

Accommodation will be provided onsite in a self contained non sharing fully furnished unit and a car to use after hours.

- This hospital has 39 beds and it is an exciting time to be part of its Medical team with a current hospital currently being constructed. Services offered include medical, emergency, maternity and surgical, antenatal,



birthing and postnatal services, pathology laboratory, sub-acute rehabilitation, geriatric evaluation and management, wound management, telehealth and palliative care.
- A rural town and locality in the Maranoa Region with a population of 6,800 people. A thriving rural centre and home to a variety of industries including agriculture and natural resources. It has three educational facilities prep to year 12 including TAFE, a library, cinema and a swimming pool.
- Accommodation will be provided in a self contained, non sharing fully furnished unit and a car to use to get in and out from the airport daily.
