Briones Group is seeking experienced Pipe Fitters, Poly Welders and Plumbers to join our established maintenance crew at a Bowen Basin CHPP.

This is an ongoing 4/3 roster, undertaking a variety of maintenance and project works across the plant, including poly and steel pipework, general mechanical repairs, installations and modifications.

About the role

Briones Group is seeking experienced Pipe Fitters, Poly Welders and Plumbers to join our established maintenance crew at a Bowen Basin CHPP.

This is an ongoing 4/3 roster, undertaking a variety of maintenance and project works across the plant, including poly and steel pipework, general mechanical repairs, installations and modifications.

Key responsibilities

- Installation, maintenance and repair of HDPE/poly and carbon steel piping systems

- Butt fusion and electrofusion welding

- Pipework, valves, pumps, fittings and associated infrastructure

- General CHPP maintenance, repairs and plant modifications





- Assisting with mechanical and fabrication works as required

- Working alongside an established site maintenance crew

About you

- Experience in pipe fitting, poly welding, plumbing or mechanical maintenance

- Experience with HDPE and/or carbon steel piping systems

- Butt fusion and electrofusion experience highly regarded

- CHPP, mining or heavy industrial experience preferred

- Trade qualifications or relevant demonstrated experience

- Current driver's licence

- Robust safety focus and willingness to undertake varied maintenance work
