About the Role

We are seeking a Geophysical Field Technician to join our team. This is a hands‑on, outdoor role involving field work, 4WD driving, equipment setup, and travel to remote locations.

This role suits candidates with practical, hands‑on experience or those looking to enter the mining, geophysics, or field services industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with geophysical surveys and data acquisition
- Operate 4WD vehicles, trailers, and ATVs
- Set up, test, and pack down field equipment
- Perform manual tasks including digging and cable placement




- Conduct basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Work safely in remote and physically demanding environments

Requirements

Essential:

- Current manual driver’s licence
- Physically fit and able to perform manual work
- Willingness to travel and work away from home

Desirable:

- 4WD and towing experience
- Mechanical or electrical aptitude

Previous experience in field work, rural, trades, construction, or outdoor roles
