About the role

We're after an ambitious Chef to join our kitchen in Thirroul and help shape where our food goes next. You'll work side by side with our Venue Manager on seasonal menus and specials. Bring ideas, test them and see your dishes on the board. Day to day, you'll run a tight breakfast and lunch service, bake for a cabinet people queue for, and send every plate out to standard. In a small, close team everyone pitches in. That means jumping on wash up, running coffees or helping the floor when the room is pumping.

What you'll do

- Cook the menu to a high standard, every shift, every plate
- Pitch and develop specials and seasonal dishes with the Venue Manager
- Prep, cook and bake for breakfast, lunch and the cabinet
- Run a clean, organized, food-safe kitchen
- Keep waste low with smart prep and portioning
- Stay calm and sharp in peak
- Pitch in wherever the team needs you

About you

- You've cooked in busy,



well regarded cafes and you know what great looks like
- You're ambitious and want to build a name for yourself
- You're consistent, independent and take pride in the details
- You're a team player who's adaptable and happy to move between pass, bakery and dish
