Our client is a highly regarded contractor delivering complex FRP, reinforced concrete and substation construction projects across Australia. With a strong pipeline of work, they are seeking an experienced General Superintendent to lead site operations and drive successful project outcomes.

This role is ideally suited to a hands‑on construction leader who thrives in challenging environments, has extensive experience managing temporary works and complex formwork systems, and is recognised as a highly effective communicator capable of leading large multidisciplinary teams.

About the Role

As General Superintendent, you will take responsibility for the safe, efficient and profitable delivery of major construction works, overseeing multiple crews, supervisors and subcontractors across large-scale projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and coordinate all on-site construction activities.
- Manage supervisors, foremen and subcontractors across multiple work fronts.
- Oversee complex FRP and reinforced concrete structures.
- Coordinate and manage temporary works and advanced formwork systems.
- Drive the construction and commissioning of substation and energy infrastructure projects.




- Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and project stakeholders.
- Identify and resolve construction challenges while maintaining productivity and project momentum.
- Promote a positive site culture focused on safety, accountability and performance.

About You

- Proven experience as a Superintendent or General Superintendent on major civil, infrastructure, energy or industrial projects.
- Strong background in substation construction, reinforced concrete and FRP works.
- Extensive knowledge of temporary works, falsework and complex formwork systems.
- Excellent planning, sequencing and resource management skills.
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Demonstrated experience leading large site teams in remote or rostered project environments.
- Strong understanding of safety, quality and project delivery requirements.
