Lead Drafter- HVAC & Mechanical Services.

POSITION

- Lead and coordinate drafting activities across commercial HVAC and mechanical services projects.
- Provide technical guidance & support to in-house draftspersons and contractors.
- Prepare, review and check mechanical services drawings, layouts and technical documentation for accuracy and compliance with Australian Standards.
- Coordinate drafting workloads and project priorities to ensure deadlines are met.
- Work closely with engineers, project managers, contractors and consultants to ensure drafting requirements are delivered.
- Identify and resolve drafting discrepancies, coordination clashes and technical issues as they arise.
- Monitor drafting progress, deadlines and project deliverables,



attending weekly coordination and technical meetings.
- Contribute to continuous improvement across drafting systems, software and processes.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

- Proven experience in a senior or lead drafting role within commercial HVAC or mechanical services.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical design, HVAC systems and Australian Standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit or similar drafting software.
- Experience providing technical guidance and support to junior draftspersons.
- Strong ability to identify and resolve technical coordination issues and clashes.Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills and ability to manage competing deadlines.
- Strong communication skills. Comfortable liaising with engineers, contractors and project managers.
