Hands Down the Best is hiring experienced Disability Support Workers across the Bayside, Redlands and Northern Brisbane suburbs.

We're looking for people who know their stuff, enjoy what they do, and bring a little personality to their work.

At Hands Down the Best, we take the responsibility of supporting people seriously, but that doesn't mean every day needs to feel serious.

We believe excellent support comes from genuine connections, a positive attitude, practical skills, and knowing when to have a laugh.

We're looking for experienced Disability Support Workers who are capable, adaptable, and confident supporting people with a range of physical, personal care, and behavioural support needs.

What You’ll Need

We're seeking applicants who meet the following requirements:

- Certificate III or higher in Individual Support, Disability, Community Services, or a related field.

- Practical experience with transfers and hoists, including safe manual handling techniques and the ability to assist with pushing and manoeuvring manual wheelchairs when required.

- Experience supporting people with behaviours of concern, including de-escalation strategies and positive behaviour support approaches.

- Current First Aid and CPR certification.

- Current Manual Handling training/accreditation.

- Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module, Quality, Safety and You.

- Valid Queensland driver's licence.

- Reliable vehicle with comprehensive motor vehicle insurance.
