Azora is a fast growing non-bank lender specialising in commercial asset finance, consumer car loans and home loans. We are seeking an experienced hardship officer to work with customers to understand their needs, identify appropriate solutions and help them move forward with confidence.

Your Responsibilities | How you will make a difference

We are seeking an experienced hardship officer to predominantly focus on our consumer portfolios.

- Conduct inbound and outbound hardship calls to assist customers experiencing financial difficulty.
- Analyse and assess a customer's financial position and provide appropriate solutions
- Negotiate acceptable repayment arrangements with customers.
- Identify financial hardship and work with the Collections Manager to provide suitable financial assistance.




- Liaise with the Collections Team to ensure that they are aware of on-going hardship assessments and opportunities to provide alternative solutions.
- Assist Collections team with work overflow or as required by Collections Manager in order to minimise delinquency and losses.

Your Skills & Experience | A little bit about you…

- 2+ years hardship experience, preferably consumer car loans and/or home loans
- Working knowledge of NCCP Act and Privacy Act
- Sound knowledge of collections processes
- A ‘can do’ and proactive approach to your work
- Collaborative and teamwork a must!
- Commercial thinking
- Time management and organisation skills
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Punctual and reliable
