Job Description:

The Graph QL(GQL) Developer is responsiblefor designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting scalable API andintegration solutions using Graph QLand Java technologies. The rolewill work closely with application, platform, cloud, and architecture teams todeliver secure, high-performing, and reusable services that enable digitalmodernization and cloud-native application development across the portfolio.

This positionwill contribute to the development of contemporary microservices-based architectures, API governance, integration patterns, and continuous improvement initiativeswhile supporting operational excellence within a managed services environment. Design, develop, andmaintain Graph QLAPIs and Java-based backend services. Build reusable,scalable, and secure Graph QLschemas, resolvers, and data accesslayers.

Develop RESTand Graph QLintegrations with enterprise applications,databases, and external systems. Implementmicroservices using Java, Spring Boot, and cloud-native developmentpatterns. Optimize API performance,query execution, caching, and payload efficiency. Ensure adherence to API security standards including authentication, authorization, and dataprotection.



Participate inapplication modernization initiatives including microservicestransformation and cloud adoption.

Collaborate with Cloud, Platform Engineering, and Architecture teams to implement scalableintegration solutions. Supportapplicationonboardingonto cloud platforms and containerized environments. Assist in designingintegration patterns and reusable service frameworks. Support SLA-drivenproduction environments and participate inincident,problem,and change management activities. Perform root causeanalysis and remediation of application and integration issues.

Monitor applicationperformance and implement proactive improvement Contribute toarchitecture reviews, technical governance, and development standards. Maintain developmentrunbooks, operational procedures, and support documentation. Define and maintaincloud architecture principles, standards, reference architectures, anddesign patterns across the portfolio.

Develop cloudtransformation and modernization roadmaps aligned to business andtechnology strategy Lead solutionarchitecture reviews and provide governance for cloud implementationsacross projects and programs.

Design and govern AWSinfrastructure and platform services including EKS, EC2, VPC, Route53, Transit Gateway, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda, Cloud Watch, and related services. Establish secure cloudarchitecture patterns incorporating Identity and Access Management (IAM),encryption, secrets management,



network segmentation, and security bestpractices. Drive applicationmodernization initiatives including containerization, cloud-native architectures,microservicesadoption, and serverless computing.

Collaborate with Cyber Security teams to ensure compliance with enterprise, government, andregulatory requirements. Identify technologyrisks, technical debt, and improvement opportunities, and establishremediation roadmaps Yourresponsibilities will also include gathering system and user requirements,building modules and testing features before release. You must havehands-on experience developing,deploying,and maintainingfunctional, secure and high-quality applications.

To be successful in this roleyou willhave: Experience working in SLA-driven / managed services (BAU) environments with incident, problem,and change management practices. Strong hands-onexperience in Java, Spring Boot, Graph QL, and REST APIdevelopment. Expertise in Graph QLschemadesign, resolvers, queries, mutations, and API security. Experience buildingand supportingmicroservicesand integrating enterpriseapplications. Knowledge of AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native development practices.

Familiarity with CI/CDpipelines, Git, automated testing, and Dev Ops practices. Strong SQL anddatabase experience (Oracle, Postgre SQL, SQL Server, etc.). Experience withmonitoring and observability tools such as Dynatrace, Grafana, ELK, or Cloud Watch. Excellentcommunication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Experience creatingtechnical designs, API specifications, use cases, and knowledgerepositories. Prepare Knowledgerepository for project(s) Willingness to learnnew technologies and domain areas.
