The Specialist Medical Practitioner - Alcohol and Drug Service (ADS) North in Launceston is a permanent full time position within a supportive framework. It is led by the Area Manager, ADS North, with clinical governance by the Statewide Specialty Director, ADS.
You will work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to support pharmacotherapy services, exercise independent clinical judgement, and provide specialist medical advice to private prescribers for complex cases.
