RM - Grafton Base Hospital - Women's Care Unit

Grafton Base Hospital in New South Wales is seeking a Registered Midwife to join the Women's Care Unit on a contract basis. This is a short-term opportunity running from now until 22 November 2026, offering around six weeks of work in a busy, supportive maternity environment. - Work in a dedicated Women's Care Unit at a regional base hospital
- Contract role, approximately six weeks, starting as soon as possible
- Opportunity to contribute to quality maternity care in a collaborative team setting

Preferred Requirements

- Current registration as a Registered Midwife with AHPRA




- Demonstrated experience in midwifery practice, particularly in intrapartum or postnatal care
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills in a women's health context
- Ability to work flexibly within a rotating roster environment
- Qualified approach to documentation and compliance with hospital protocols

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor of Midwifery or equivalent qualification recognised by AHPRA
- Current CPR and emergency response certification
- Previous experience in a hospital-based maternity unit or similar acute care setting
