Location: Hobart and surrounding areas
About The Role
- Permanent part time roles available - 15-25 hours per week , may include weekends
- Shifts vary from 3hrs - 8hrs and are rostered between 7am and 11pm
- Collection of pathology specimens from patients in our collection rooms, hospitals and as part of domiciliary services
- Store and process pathology specimens
- Patient reception and response to client enquiries
- Record patient information
- Attend to the well-being of patients
- Liaise with patients and referring doctors
- Use of laboratory application software
- Training will be provided to successful candidates

Selection Criteria
- Ability to commit to a full time M-F training program (4-8) weeks depending upon previous experience)
- Must be available to work shifts commencing at either 7am or 8am
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated commitment to service excellence
- Exceptional skills in applying attention to detail
- Proven ability to act independently within established guidelines, whilst demonstrating initiative and sound judgement
- A current unrestricted Australian driver’s licence
