Opportunities exist at Maroondah City Council for motivated, enthusiastic and flexible individuals of all ages to join our team of Relief School Crossing Supervisors.

This is a great opportunity for individuals to work close to home

The ideal candidate will:
• Have a current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
• Live within the Maroondah City Council local government area
• Be able and willing to engage with the local community, building positive relationships and representing our organisation in a professional manner
• Have the ability to follow road safety procedures and have a strong focus on your surroundings
• At times, attend shifts at short notice and be prepared to accept phone calls from 7am
• Be positive with a friendly attitude
• Have the ability to communicate effectively in English with people of all ages.
• Have the ability and willingness to undertake learning (online/in person)

If you have an hour or two to spare each day during school terms and between the hours of 8.00am and 9.00am and/or 3.00pm and 4.00pm, enjoy meeting people and be are prepared to work at any of Maroondah City Council’s 73 school crossings in all weather conditions, we would be pleased to receive your application.

We provide uniforms, full training, ongoing support

You must also be willing to undergo a pre- employment Medical and Police check and maintain a current Working with Children check.
