DGL Gardening & Landscapes is seeking an experienced Horticulturist/Leading hand to join our team. This is a full-time position where you will play a key role in maintaining gardens and landscapes we service across the Gold Coast.
What you'll be doing
- Lead a team of gardeners to deliver high-quality landscaping and maintenance services for both residential and commercial sites.
- Oversee the planting, pruning, mowing, and general care of gardens and green spaces
- Provide expert horticultural advice and guidance to the team
- Liaise with clients to understand their needs and preferences
- Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards
What we're looking for
- Minimum cert III/ IV qualification in horticulture or a related field
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar leading hand or supervisory role
- Extensive knowledge of plants, landscaping techniques, and maintenance best practices
- Robust team leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's licence and experience operating landscaping equipment
