Help Build Something from the Ground Up!

Central Coast Freeze is a new cold storage and warehousing operation opening in December, providing frozen storage and distribution services to the food industry.

We're looking for an experienced, hands‑on Warehouse Site Manager to help establish our operation, build a strong team and take ownership of the day‑to‑day running of the facility.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys being involved from the beginning, putting processes in place and creating a safe, efficient and well‑run warehouse.

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for the daily operations of our freezer facility, overseeing a small team working across morning and afternoon shifts.

This is a hands‑on role where you’ll be just as comfortable on the warehouse floor as you are managing people, customers and operational requirements.

You’ll have the support of off‑site Logistics, Finance, Quality & Compliance and HR teams, but you’ll be the person driving the day‑to‑day operation.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Build, train and develop the warehouse team.
- Establish efficient warehouse processes and operating procedures.
- Oversee daily receivals, storage, picking and dispatch of frozen products.
- Manage inventory accuracy, stock rotation, traceability and stock control.
- Build positive relationships with customers and ensure their storage and distribution requirements are met.
- Coordinate preventative and reactive maintenance of warehouse equipment and the facility.
- Ensure forklifts, refrigeration equipment and other site infrastructure are maintained and fit for purpose.




- Maintain food safety, HACCP, housekeeping and workplace safety standards.
- Oversee equipment calibration, pest control and required compliance records.
- Identify operational issues, implement corrective actions and drive continuous improvement.
- Work closely with the Operations Manager and off‑site support teams.

About You

We're looking for a practical leader who takes ownership, leads by example and enjoys getting things done.

You’ll ideally have:

- Experience in warehouse supervision or management, preferably in cold storage, food manufacturing or FMCG.
- Strong people leadership skills and the ability to build and motivate a team.
- Experience managing stock, inventory systems and warehouse operations.
- An understanding of HACCP, food safety and workplace safety requirements.
- Experience coordinating equipment and facility maintenance.
- Strong organisational, communication and problem‑solving skills.
- A proactive, hands‑on approach and a willingness to get involved wherever needed.

You don't necessarily need to have managed an entire site before. If you're an experienced Warehouse Supervisor ready to take the next step, we'd love to hear from you.
