Senior Project Manager – Claims Platform Transformation

Location: Geelong, VIC (Hybrid)
Contract: 6 months initially, with a view to extension

About the opportunity
n We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex business and technology initiatives within a major claims platform transformation program.

n This high-profile initiative focuses on modernising core claims systems and business processes, improving platform capabilities, and delivering strategic technology outcomes across a large, complex organisation.

n Working closely with senior executives, business stakeholders, technology teams and external vendors, you will take ownership of project delivery across multiple workstreams, ensuring outcomes are achieved within agreed scope, budget, timelines and governance frameworks.

Key responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end delivery of complex business and technology projects within a major platform transformation program.
n
- Drive technology integration initiatives, platform upgrades and associated business process improvements.
n
- Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, dependencies, risks, issues and governance across concurrent workstreams.
n
- Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate internal stakeholders, technology specialists and external delivery partners.
n
- Engage and influence senior executives and business leaders to support effective decision-making and successful project outcomes.
n




- Apply Agile, Waterfall or Hybrid delivery methodologies as appropriate to the project setting.
n
- Maintain strong stakeholder relationships and ensure clear communication, accountability and progress reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

About you
n You are an accomplished Senior Project Manager with a strong track record of delivering complex technology and business transformation projects in large, stakeholder-rich environments.

n You will ideally bring:

n

- Demonstrated experience managing technology integration projects, complex platform upgrades or enterprise system implementations.
n
- Experience in claims management, case management or related business platforms will be highly regarded.
n
- Strong project governance, financial management, planning, risk management and delivery capabilities.
n
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple concurrent workstreams.
n
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the confidence to influence senior leaders and drive decisions.
n
- Experience delivering projects using Agile, Waterfall and/or Hybrid methodologies.
