Key Responsibilities

- Review and interpret plans, drawings and blueprints to determine project requirements, measurements and materials.
- Measure, cut, shape and assemble timber, plywood and other construction materials using appropriate hand and power tools.
- Construct, install and repair timber structures, frameworks, fixtures and fittings.
- Carry out framing, roofing and finishing works in accordance with project specifications.
- Install doors, windows, flooring,



partitions and other carpentry components as required.
- Select suitable materials and ensure accurate measurements and cutting to achieve the required specifications.
- Inspect completed carpentry work to ensure quality, accuracy and compliance with building requirements.
- Coordinate with supervisors and other trades to complete construction tasks efficiently and within project schedules.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Follow relevant building codes, workplace health and safety requirements and site procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe worksite throughout each project.

What We're Looking For

- Certificate III in Carpentry or an equivalent relevant qualification.
- Minimum one year of relevant experience working as a Carpenter.
- Valid construction industry White Card.
- Sound knowledge of carpentry techniques, timber materials, construction methods and tools.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Good communication, time management and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to workplace health and safety requirements.

Salary and Employment Conditions

This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary of $80,000-$90,000 per annum plus superannuation, based on a 38-hour working week. BATZ0001
