FARM WORK AVAILABLE NOW- Backpackers NEEDED (Ayr, QLD)

Ayr Backpackers is looking for reliable, hard-working backpackers to join local farms for seasonal work!

Award wage: 32.17 /hour

Regular hours, ongoing work available

Excellent for completing your 2nd/3rd year working holiday visa farm work requirements

What you'll be doing:

- Fruit/veg picking, packing, and general farm work (fitness and a positive attitude go a long way!)
- Amazing relationships with local farmers
- A full-time staff member whose job is to find you work
- two swimming pools
- wide grassy areas
- a fleet of vehicles to get you to work
- innerspring mattresses on every bed

- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work outdoors in all weather

- Mango picking, packing experience
- Cherry picker/ forklift experience

Work Environment

Remember, under the Horticulture Award, you must be paid at least the minimum wage for each day you work. If you're paid by piece rate for a fruit picking role, you should earn at least 15% more than the minimum hourly rate for your classification.
