Telos Medical is seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our team in Stafford, QLD. This is a casual position offering flexibility for the right candidate. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, playing a vital role in creating a welcoming and professional environment. Your work will directly contribute to the smooth operation of our medical practice and enhance the patient experience at every interaction.

What you’ll be doing

Greeting patients upon arrival and ensuring they feel welcomed in a friendly and professional manner

Managing patient registrations and updating patient records accurately and securely

Scheduling appointments and managing the clinic diary to optimise patient flow

Handling incoming calls and directing enquiries to appropriate staff members

Processing patient payments and managing billing inquiries

Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to privacy regulations at all times

Providing general administrative support to the medical team

Assisting with reception area organisation and maintenance of a clean, skilled workspace

What we’re looking for

Proven experience working in a medical reception or healthcare administrative role

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients and staff

Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail

Proficiency with computer systems and medical practice management software





Knowledge of privacy legislation and confidentiality requirements in healthcare settings

Ability to work calmly under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

A commitment to providing outstanding patient care

Current knowledge of medical terminology is advantageous
