We are seeking a motivated Trade Administrator to work in our busy Trade Hub. In this varied role, you will assist customers with product enquiries, prepare quotations, process orders and coordinate deliveries.

Working closely with our external sales team, and with support from our procurement, logistics and hardware departments, you will help deliver outstanding service and grow our trade business.

What will you be doing?

- Providing friendly, knowledgeable service to trade customers over the phone and through email.
- Preparing accurate quotations and following up promptly to support sales.
- Processing customer orders and coordinating deliveries.
- Checking product availability and working with colleagues and suppliers to meet customer needs.
- Managing special orders and supplier purchase orders.
- Processing cash and account sales, returns, credits and refunds.
- Resolving customer enquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.




- Building strong customer relationships and supporting new business opportunities.
- Contributing to sales targets and maintaining competitive pricing with support from the Trade Sales Team.
- Supporting a safe workplace and working collaboratively across the business.

What will you bring?

- Previous experience in trade sales, trade support or a similar customer service role.
- Knowledge of timber, building materials and hardware products.
- Strong customer service skills and a demonstrated ability to make sales.
- Transparent verbal and written communication skills.
- Confidence using computers and learning sales and ordering systems.
- Strong organisation, time management and attention to detail.
- The ability to prioritise tasks in a busy environment.
- A positive, practical attitude and a willingness to support your team.
- The ability to build trusted relationships with customers, colleagues and suppliers.
