RAW Developments & Construction is looking for an experienced and ambitious Contract Administrator to join our growing construction team in Hervey Bay.

This is more than a traditional CA role.

You’ll work closely with our Senior Project Manager and site teams across the full project lifecycle, from pre-construction, estimating and procurement through to commercial management, construction delivery and final account.

With exposure across residential, commercial and industrial projects, this role is ideal for someone who wants to broaden their construction experience, take greater ownership and build a pathway toward Project Management.

What You’ll Do

You’ll play a key role in the commercial and administrative delivery of RAW projects.

Your responsibilities will include procurement of subcontractor and supplier packages, preparing scopes of work and tender documentation, evaluating tenders, coordinating subcontract agreements and maintaining procurement schedules.

You’ll administer progress claims, payment schedules, variations, EOTs, contractual notices, retentions and final accounts, while maintaining accurate project budgets, commitments, forecasts and cost-to-complete information.

You’ll also work closely with Project Managers, Site Managers, subcontractors, consultants, clients and authorities to keep projects moving and identify commercial risks and opportunities early.

What We’re Looking For

To be considered, you must have at least 2 years’ relevant experience in Contract Administration, Project Management, Estimating, Project Engineering or a similar construction-based role.

You’ll also bring:

- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
- Excellent organisation and time-management skills
- Confidence communicating with subcontractors, consultants and other stakeholders
- A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership
- The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-moving construction environment
- A genuine ambition to learn, develop and progress your career

Experience with Procore, Premier or similar construction management software is highly regarded but not essential.
