Technology Procurement & Vendor Management Professional – Brisbane based - Permanent Role

An opportunity has become available for an experienced Technology Procurement and Vendor Management professional to join a large, complex organisation and take ownership of strategic technology suppliers, sourcing activity and commercial outcomes across a diverse ICT workplace.

Working closely with senior Technology, Procurement, Legal and Risk stakeholders, you’ll manage complex vendor relationships and commercial arrangements across areas including software, SaaS, cloud and infrastructure services. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who understands technology procurement and can confidently move between sourcing, contract negotiations, supplier performance and ongoing vendor governance.

The RoleYou will be responsible for:

- Managing strategic technology suppliers, contracts, SLAs and supplier performance
- Leading technology sourcing activities, tenders, renewals and commercial negotiations
- Supporting category and sourcing strategies across software, SaaS, cloud and infrastructure services
- Managing complex technology contracts and identifying opportunities to improve commercial outcomes
- Facilitating supplier governance and performance reviews with technical stakeholders and senior leaders
- Resolving supplier performance, contractual and governance issues
- Balancing commercial value with operational requirements, service delivery and risk
- Building strong relationships across Technology, Procurement, Legal,



Risk and external supplier teams

About YouTo be successful, you will bring:

- 5+ years’ experience across technology procurement, ICT vendor management, commercial management or a closely related discipline
- Strong experience managing technology vendors and complex commercial contracts
- Demonstrated experience across technology sourcing, tendering, contract negotiation and renewals
- Experience procuring and managing SaaS/software solutions
- A sound understanding of software licensing, cloud services and/or IT infrastructure
- Experience engaging with major enterprise technology providers
- Strong commercial judgement and the ability to translate technical requirements into practical commercial outcomes
- Confidence working with senior and technically focused stakeholders
- The ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities within a large enterprise environment
