About the role

You'll play an important role in keeping underground equipment operating safely and reliably. This is a FIFO position departing from Perth, with roster options available including 8:6, 7:7 and 2:2.

Key responsibilities

- Carry out electrical servicing, preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs

- Fault-find and diagnose electrical issues to get equipment back into service

- Work on underground electrical infrastructure, including pumps, fans, cables and distribution systems

- Maintain and troubleshoot underground drilling equipment

- Complete inspections, testing and repairs in line with site procedures and safety requirements

- Keep maintenance records up to date and provide transparent shift handovers

- Work closely with the maintenance crew and operators to support equipment reliability and production

About you

- Current Australian electrical licence

- Minimum 2 years' post-trade underground mining experience





- Previous experience with underground electrical maintenance and breakdowns

- Experience with Sandvik 422/421 and Epiroc drill rigs

- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capabilities

- Practical, safety-first approach to work

- Ability to work independently and contribute positively to a maintenance team

Benefits

- $70–$85 per hour base rate, depending on experience and residential location
