Automotive Accessories Installer – Garage Audio
Morayfield, QLD | Salary up to $60,000 per year, depending on experience

Garage Audio is looking for a reliable installer with previous automotive installation experience to join our Morayfield workshop.

You don’t need to be a car audio specialist. If you have experience fitting bull bars, winches, 4WD accessories, dual batteries, driving lights, UHF radios or other vehicle accessories, we’d like to hear from you.

You must already understand how to work carefully around vehicles, remove and refit components, route cables and complete neat installations. We can provide training in the audio side of the business.

About the role

You’ll work on a variety of vehicles, installing equipment such as:

- Head units, speakers, amplifiers and subwoofers.

- Dash cameras and reversing cameras.

- UHF radios and antennas.

- Driving lights and other automotive accessories.

Your responsibilities will include removing and refitting trim, routing and protecting wiring, securely mounting equipment, testing completed installations and keeping the workshop organised.

What we’re looking for

- Previous hands-on automotive installation experience is essential.

- Confidence removing and refitting vehicle trim and components without damage.

- Competence using hand and power tools.





- Experience routing and securing wiring neatly.

- Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently.

- Attention to detail and pride in your workmanship.

- Reliability, punctuality and initiative.

- Care and respect for customers’ vehicles.

Experience with 12-volt wiring, fuses, relays and electrical accessories will be highly regarded. Car audio installation experience is an advantage, but is not required.
