Salary: AUD $70,000-$90,000 per annum Our Client Our client, Norwest Group, is a Western Australian company providing civil construction, transport, mining, logistics, and infrastructure services across the Pilbara and regional Western Australia.

With a focus on protected and efficient project delivery, Norwest Group undertakes construction and infrastructure works requiring reliable concrete placement, finishing, and site preparation. Norwest Group is seeking an experienced Concreter to join its team in Karratha, WA, supporting civil construction and infrastructure projects. About the Role

The Concreter will undertake concrete preparation, placement, levelling, and finishing activities for civil construction and infrastructure works. Working alongside site supervisors and construction teams, the successful candidate will help deliver durable concrete surfaces and structures in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and workplace safety requirements. Key Responsibilities

Prepare work areas, install formwork, and position reinforcing materials for concrete placement. Mix, pour, spread, and level concrete for slabs, pathways, foundations, and other civil construction works. Smooth and finish concrete surfaces using hand tools, screeds, and mechanical finishing equipment.





Construct concrete edges, joints, and surface profiles to meet project specifications. Install required fixtures and embedded components in concrete as directed by project plans. Apply appropriate curing methods and protect freshly poured concrete to maintain quality and durability.

Operate concrete cutting equipment and other relevant tools to complete finishing and construction tasks. Inspect completed work, identify defects, and assist with repairs to ensure required quality standards are met. Maintain concrete tools and equipment and keep work areas clean and free from hazards.

Follow site safety procedures and coordinate with supervisors and other workers to complete work efficiently. Essential Requirements Relevant experience as a Concreter in civil construction, infrastructure, or a similar industry.

Knowledge of concrete placement, levelling, finishing, and curing techniques. Ability to use concrete tools, finishing equipment, and construction machinery safely. Ability to read and follow construction drawings, measurements, and site instructions.

Understanding of workplace health and safety procedures on construction sites. Good physical fitness, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a team. Current Australian Driver's Licence or the ability to obtain one.
