Rapid Clean is the leading Newcastle based supplier of cleaning consumables and equipment. Family owned, it has traded over 30 years with a strong reputation for customer service and advice, stock availability and technical support. The business has a balanced mix of store based sales, phone and email trading, and website generated sales.

As this is a customer-focused position, candidates should be able to handle a multitude of tasks whilst maintaining a pleasant, friendly manner with all customers.

The role is based in the office, weekdays only, with no remote working

Customer support responsibilities include

. Welcome and serve customers and visitors who enter the store

. Answering & directing calls

. Order entering and invoicing/ Administrative tasks

. Managing ingoing/outgoing email

. Providing Support to Sales Team colleagues on other tasks related to showroom

The ideal Candidate will

. Have a high standard of personal presentation

. Possess a high level of written & verbal communication skills

. Possess a reasonable /high level of computer, especially in the use of MS Office.



Website involvement and graphics would be an advantage

. Be able to work independently & cohesively in a team, be organized and self- motivated

. Be reliable, adaptable & versatile
