CRM Group Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated, reliable and qualified electrician to join our expanding team.

Operating from our Rockhampton electrical workshop and Yeppoon showroom, we deliver a diverse range of electrical, solar, battery storage and air-conditioning projects throughout Central Queensland.

Key Responsibilities

- Residential, commercial and industrial electrical installations and maintenance.

- Electrical fault finding, repairs and diagnostics.

- Switchboard upgrades, testing and compliance.

- Solar PV and hybrid battery storage installations.

- Electrical work associated with air-conditioning installations.

- Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety and professionalism.

- Complete accurate job reports, service notes and documentation using electronic job management systems.

- Provide excellent customer service and communicate professionally with clients.

- Assist and mentor apprentices where required.

- Work independently or alongside our experienced team of electricians and refrigeration technicians.

About You

Essential Requirements:

- Current Queensland Electrical Fitter/Mechanic Licence.

- Current C Class Driver's Licence.

- Construction White Card.

- Current CPR/LVR certification.

- Sound knowledge of AS/NZS 3000 Wiring Rules.

- Strong electrical fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

- Reliable, motivated and capable of working independently or as part of a team.

- Good communication and customer service skills.

- A positive attitude and commitment to quality workmanship.

Highly Regarded but Not Essential:

- Solar PV installation accreditation.

- Battery storage installation accreditation.

- Restricted Air Conditioning Licence.

- Working at Heights qualification.

- Residential and commercial maintenance experience.

- Experience supervising or mentoring apprentices.

Don't have solar or air-conditioning qualifications? No problem!

Our hourly rate ranges from $50.00 to $57.50 per hour plus superannuation, depending on qualifications, experience and demonstrated capabilities.

Overtime opportunities are available, providing the potential to earn additional income beyond your standard full-time hours, with overtime paid at applicable overtime rates.

Successful applicants will also be eligible for a $5,000 sign-on bonus following successful completion of six months' probation, subject to the applicable terms and conditions.

Remuneration Information

The advertised hourly rate of $50.00–$57.50 is based on the successful applicant's qualifications, relevant experience and demonstrated capabilities.

The higher end of the advertised pay range is applicable to suitably experienced electricians who hold current solar and/or air-conditioning accreditations or qualifications prior to commencement.

Final remuneration will be discussed with shortlisted applicants and determined based on their individual skills and qualifications.
