Experienced Fire tester required for immediate start

You will be joining an established and growing fire services company that provides testing, inspection and maintenance services across a range of commercial properties throughout Sydney.Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Fire Tester to join their service team. Your new role
As a Fire Tester, you will be responsible for carrying out scheduled testing and inspections of essential fire protection equipment across multiple client sites.Your duties will include:Routine inspection and testing of fire protection equipment
Testing fire extinguishers, hose reels and hydrants
Testing emergency and exit lighting
Assisting with fire detection and alarm testing
Completing scheduled preventative maintenance and compliance inspections
Identifying and reporting faults and defects
Accurately completing test results, service reports and required documentation
Liaising professionally with clients, facilities teams and other contractors
Managing your daily workload across multiple sites
Ensuring all works are completed safely and to the required standards
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role,



you will have:Previous experience as a Fire Tester, Fire Technician or Essential Services Technician
Hands-on experience testing and inspecting fire protection equipment
A valuable understanding of routine fire testing and compliance requirements
Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple service calls
Current Australian Driver Licence
Relevant fire industry qualifications and accreditations will be highly regarded
A reliable, professional and safety-focused attitude
