It is looking for a Senior Associate to join its M&A; team in Sydney, taking on mergers and acquisitions work for private companies, business owners and investors.

About the role
Corporate and commercial transactions with M&A; at the core, from first instructions through to completion.
• Run sale and purchase transactions, from heads of agreement through to completion
• Lead due diligence and manage the disclosure process
• Draft and negotiate share and asset sale agreements, shareholders' agreements and ancillary documents
• Advise on corporate structuring, reorganisations and commercial contracts
• Build direct client relationships and take ownership of your own matters
• Supervise and mentor junior lawyers on deal teams

What you'll bring




• M&A; and corporate transaction experience at Senior Associate level
• Admission to practise in NSW with a current practising certificate
• A drive to own your matters, build real client relationships and take control of your own career
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills, with the confidence to run a deal and manage the client
