About the Role

NCF is looking for an experienced Foreman – Utilities/Services to provide leadership and management across civil works (incl: kerb, pavement, service relocation- water/sewer/telcoms, excavation and/or basement construction projects).

This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in the field, takes pride in quality outcomes, and brings a robust background in civil construction, including services/utilities and pavement construction.

Key Responsibilities

Works including:

- Water, sewer, stormwater, electrical underground installations and trench works

- Earthworks & earthmoving equipment

- Pavement construction

- Concrete works – formwork, reinforcement, concrete install, concrete repair

- Lead daily site activities and coordinate crews, subcontractors, and equipment

- Plan daily activities and coordinate labour, plant, equipment and materials.

- Read and interpret plans, specifications and levels.





- Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to specification

- Support and mentor workers to uphold high standards and teamwork

- Communicate progress with Project Managers and resolve site issues promptly

- Uphold compliance with OH&S;, environmental, and quality requirements

- Contribute to planning, productivity, and continuous improvement onsite

- Liaise with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.

About You

- Experience minimum 10 years as a Foreman in civil construction with significant experience with works involving Services/Utilities

- Strong knowledge of civil works involving utilities/services, pavement construction and earthworks

- Willingness to work across Melbourne Vic

- Strong practical knowledge of civil works, including piling, excavation and basement projects

- Ability to interpret plans, specifications and levels.

- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.

- Sound understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
